An excerpt from Don't Stand So Close to Me:

He quirks one eyebrow at me, “I owed you something…?”
I take a deep breath. “A goodnight kiss.”
“Bella—“ he’s already shaking his head.
“Please, I just,” I move so I’m standing only a few inches in front of him, “I didn’t get one after that great night, and…it can be something to remember you by.”
He is visibly torn. His eyes search mine as he moves, ever so slightly, toward me, “Bella, if anyone found out…”
“No one will find out,” I breathe, “I would never tell anyone about us.”
“We can’t,” he whispers, but as he says it, he closes his eyes and moves toward me.
At first, our kiss is feather-light, two sets of lips barely brushing against each other, but as the seconds tick by, slowly we press harder and harder into one another, until we’re clinging to each other for support. Edward backs me into the wall, pressing himself against me and groaning. God, he’s already so hard. I open my mouth to him, as I open my legs and wrap them around his waist. His tongue dives into my mouth and I suck on it, greedily, groaning and grinding myself against him simultaneously. This man is so intense. Every inch of my body feels like it’s on fire as his hands move across it, and all I can think about is getting him upstairs, and inside of me.
Just as I feel like I might pass out from lack of oxygen and general Edward-headiness, he pulls away, and sets me onto my feet. He shakes his head once, and, without another word, walks out the front door.
